Provinces, SANA – The army foiled on Friday an attack by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization on military posts in Hama countryside, killing a large number of them.

Army units clashed with the attackers who attempted to attack a number of military posts in the surroundings of Maan town from the directions of Atshan, Tal Skeik and Um Hartain in the northern countryside of the central Hama province, a military source told SANA.

The clashes resulted in the death of more than 50 terrorists and the destruction of 9 of their vehicles, two of which are armored and equipped with heavy machineguns.
